What are you going to do?
What can you expect from us?
- 232 vacation hours per year, based on a 38-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). You can also work more or fewer hours in exchange for more or fewer free hours. For example, with a 40-hour workweek, you save 96 extra free hours, and with a 36-hour workweek, you lose 96 hours.

- This position will be funded by the European Project LIFE IP GrassBirdHabitats. The candidate will be offered a 42-month contract (depending on salary scale) with a remuneration based on the terms of employment and benefits of UG from €4,241 (salary scale 10.4) onwards, up to a maximum of €4,728 gross per month (salary scale 10.7). The successful candidate will closely collaborate with the Lower Saxony Agency for Nature Conservation (NLWKN), and LANUV in Germany. NLWKN is the lead beneficiary of the European-funded LIFE IP GrassBirdHabitats and currently developing a European plan for the conservation of grassland breeding birds. NLWKN offers an opportunity to collaborate with a wide network of stakeholders working on bird conservation along the East Atlantic Flyway. LANUV is coordinating the EU LIFE-Projekt Wiesenvögel – Wiesenvögel NRW in Northerheine-Westphalia. Both nature conservation and agricultural scientific support will be provided on site. Start Date: The successful candidate is expected to start on 1 March 2026
